Scope 12 Inspection
Ensure the safety, quality, and insurability of your solar energy installation with a Scope 12 inspection.
In the Netherlands, a SCIOS Scope 12 inspection is not legally required, but most insurers require it before providing coverage for commercial PV-installations.
Our SCIOS-certified inspectors thoroughly inspect your PV-installation and provide a detailed report of their findings. This inspection ensures a safe and well-functioning installation, which is often a key requirement for insurance coverage.
Choose certainty and expertise with a Scope 12 inspection from Solarif Risk Management.

Frequently asked questions
Act like ‘a good family man’ and make sure the damage does not worsen both materially and in terms of production loss. You do not need permission to repair but make sure that the damage can be assessed by an expert afterward: take photos and keep damaged material until the insurer or expert says it can be removed. Starting restoration on time, however, does not mean that all damage is actually insured. This has to be determined afterward by the insurer.
In addition to solar panel insurance, it is wise to take out liability insurance. Consult our insurance advisers to determine the right cover for your specific situation.
Currently, a Scope 12 inspection is not legally required. However, many insurers require a Scope 12 inspection to insure the solar installation. After all, an unsafe installation cannot be insured. Solar panel installations need a regular health check!
